I took my graphics skills and moved on to a small screen printing company. Instead of generating film for other peoples jobs I was now doing more layout and work with art files – just mostly for van shaped magnets. There is an army of plumbers out there relying on my work to promote their services. Quickly I was tasked with organizing the work schedule for upcoming jobs that were sold to some large clients. Routinely this would involve creating art files and specifications for dies to be created for the die cut press cutting out contoured magnet material.

Some of the more enjoyable work we performed was the preparation of art files for screen printing on batches of tshirts. The satisfaction of seeing people on TV and running marathons wearing something you helped create was immense.
